Hello! I bought my 1998 vt1100 recently. It had an after market cobra exhaust on it with stock intake. I rebuilt the carb with your performance kit and put 198 and 50 jets in it. It idles fantastic and excels well until I open it past 50% throttle. I just bought the velocity stacks to see if its an intake issue.
two questions:
Will the velocity stacks help or do I need to try different jets as well?
Are there any ports I need to plug or reroute when I install the velocity stacks? Or do I just toss the intake boot and slap them on?
