Advice on carb/parts

  • Good day, I am looking for some guidance, Unfortunately as I was cleaning my carburetor I dropped it from 4 feet on concrete very very stupid of me, don't see any cracks besides scuffs and the air/fuel got bent, it still threads in, this is my first carb bike so I don't know much about air/fuel mixing. Would this one still work, use the stock screw or just buy a new air/fuel mix screw? Also would the carb still be ok for use or would it be best to buy a new one and swap everything over in hopes that everything inside is still good. Thank you

  • I would buy a new mix screw. The bent one might work but personally I wouldn't bother with it. If nothing else on the carb is broken or cracked, I dont see why it wouldn't work. Also, if you use the stock mix screw you have to have  a fancy wrench to tune.

  • @Misha reach out to customer service. if you got the warranty, you should be able to get a replacement mix screw =) and if you put it all back together and have no problems no need to replace the carb.
