2006 Shadow 600 Single carb

  My bike is a 2006 Honda Shadow VT 600 VLX. I recently purchased the max performance kit and am having some trouble with my tuning I purchased the boot burners added the velocity stack and using a main jet 145 and pilot jet 48 I am getting lean traits from the bike but my spark plugs are being fouled and say it's rich where should I start? I also have been using the air/fuel mixture screw and keep having the traits one or the other. If anyone is using the same set up it would be appreciated for the info
