Gaining height on my Police Road King

Gaining clearance

The bike has a good amount of wear under the stock floorboards. From the police department and myself taking sharp turns. How can I gain height to clear them? Can I simply go up an inch or two on each tire, 17" front/16" rear currently? Will new front and rear shocks cure this?

@dwell1119 very cool bike man, but unfortunately this is out of my scope of expertise. however just from other bikes ive worked on, if your shocks are out of spec then yes a new replacement could help, if your fork springs are original and worn out then yes a replacement could very well help.
