UCOR Tank on 2009 Honda Shadow Spirit 750

    Hello, I just purchased a UCOR tank for my Honda Shadow Spirit 750. How much coolant should be added to this tank after installation, given that the old stock coolant reserve had a fill line? According to my manual, it says the reserve tank capacity is 0.38L. Should this be how much is put in, or eyeball it and just fill to about 1/2 or 2/3 capacity to leave room for expanding coolant from the radiator? thank you!

    @Nick Romano fill it halfway and make sure your internal return line tip is cut at an angle and goes to the bottom of the tank.

    Sweet thank you brother. Just curious, why does the tip of the return line need to be cut at an angle?

    Because if it's flat and it sticks to the bottom of the tank then when the system tries to suck fluid back into it it can't because it's stuck.  it has to be cut at an angle so there's no chance of it getting stuck on the bottom of the tank trust me on this@Nick Romano

    Oh I do, and I have made sure to make an angled cut on the return line, thank you for explaining the science behind it. Tank looks dope I love it and all the other tjbc parts on my bike!
