i'm a first time builder, I'm interested in buying this 2007 vtx 1300 for $2000 with 13k miles. Can anyone with some experience, let me know if this is a good idea or not?

I'm 6'4" and started with a 600 shadow. Way under powered for me. I got a flat on the 600 one day and traded it for a VTX1800. Lots of power, heavy, and fuel injected, but it fit me like a glove. Love that bike!
2 rules I live by to stay alive on any motorcycle. 1. don't drive like an idiot. 2. assume everyone else is one.

@Jeff love it! i ride by - pretend you are invisible and that no one can see you. LOL

@TJ 1000% correct TJ! I ride like I have a cloaking device enabled and I'm in stealth mode. Everybody is out to kill me untill I safely pass them. If you don't ride this way, you're dead. Loud pipes absolutely help.
