I've watched just about every one of TJs videos (most several times) that cover installing the various parts of performance kit and one of them went over how to remove the AIS and other California-required BS and what to do with the connecting hoses. For the life of me I can't find it now that I'm wanting to take that junk off. Can anyone point me to the video or post a link? Thanks!
If you're removing all over the other epa crap, you can't miss a hose going right into the top of each cylinder, onto a reed valve held down with 2 8mm bolts. If you're pulling off everything else, you can either put vacuum plugs with clamps where the hoses used to be, or buy the sick covers sold by TJ. Either way, it'll be pretty obvious once you start chopping all of the other air hoses out.
@James Everette i second that!
i just found out the video we had for AIS plates was removed for "copyright infringement" even though the re was none. we appealed it and youtube still wouldnt let us post it. sorry guys!
