vlx 600 1995 broke down

  greatings all from belgium.My wife drives a honda vlx 600 from 1995 but it suddenly broke down.
  when you press the starter button the light goes out which is normal I think .
  but the startermotor does not work. everything else works.i have checked the kill switch clutch 
  and stand seems all ok. i em thinking the icm is bad ? how do i test the icm if its broke or not ?

  @das chris Welcome! im curious why are you jumping to possibly the most expensive solution first?  LOL have you tried a new battery? checkled the fuses? do you have gas? always start with the simple stuff first man! if the main fuse on the starter relay popped then the starter def wont turn over and if the battery died, same thing. the icm would be the literal last thing on my list man. theres a LOT of other things that could be wrong so start witht he basics first!

  @TJ i found it it was a black wire that was broken to the kilswitch
