1991 VT600 stock with single carb?

Hello all,

Looking at picking up a 1991 VT600 and have found one for sale. It's single carb though. I've found conflicting info on these. Some sites state single carb as stock, other sites say that they all had dual carb until 1999. What gives? Imuveru confused. Not really interested in picking up some kind of half assed single carb mod that'll ruin the engine.

@Simon Andersen ok so the internet is really retarded sometimes. the VT600 aka the VLX was a dual carb bike THROUGH 1998, the 1999 model was released with a single carburetor and the heads were a different design as well.
check the secondary vin sticker on the lower right side frame rail. it eill say what year the bike was made. if you post pictures of the carb and the bike. ( post as many as possible) i can help you identify it. and yes some retards try to turn a dual into a single not understanding emulsification and flow metering on an intake. its sad.

post pics for me and id be happy to help you out man. the single carb models were made from 1999 through 2007.
