The VTX has great frame for that "low and slow look". I'd love to see some specific parts like: - Long Fishtail exhausts ( true duals if possible). - Deep-drop stretched fenders - Ape Hanger han...
Can anyone recommend jet sizes for my single carb 750? I’m installing a velocity stack and backdraft exhaust, and I’m doing the emissions delete at around 850 feet above sea level. I&rs...
@gunbear1520 youve got a crankcase breather going to a reservoir then to the intake in the back of your intake. its pretty normal, dont worry about. but you cannot plug the crankcase breather. dont...
@Cainam sounds good man! the right tools always help!
@Bbake21 6'3" and a healthy 250 here. I love my 600, great for bar hopping and short excursions. Love how light and nimble it is compared to my suzuki C90T. I also got the 6 in forward controls. Th...
@TJ I guess I was dumping the clutch. The bike I learned on, as long as I let the clutch out slowly, I could fully release the clutch without giving any throttle and it would move forward slowly. L...

Cheers TJ, Yeah I'm only hopefully taking the head cover off and I thought they looked like rubber gaskets. I should have added, I have a back tap thread tool so hoping I don't have to remov...
@Amanda Sell the correct float height for the 07 is 18.5 from the bowl surface and make sure you dont compress the float needle spring.
@KSquared The stacks only go on after the carbs are installed, and you may need to scooch the wiring harness over to accomodate the left side stack., =)
@Cainam bummer about the spark plug threads!!! my recommendation si ALWAYS replace a gasket if you tear the bike apart. with the exception of the head cover gaskets which are fluffy rubber, al...

@Cainam man i love bali,. not for the touristy stuff but for the people, the culture and the kindness you find everywhere. that VT750 is a MONSTER on the road next to all those mopeds!
@Jesse Bolson ok you can pretty much block everything on the carbs except (obviously) the fuel nipple, and the bowl vbent and the slide vent. tuning wise id start lean, youre at 5k elevation a...
It is much easier to put the stacks on after the carbs are loosly fitted on bike. leave wiggle room for access to allen screws. is possible to leave them on big headache though.
I put the max performance kit in. 48 pilots, 198 main, and one shim needle. Ive looked around for a float height spec for this kit and found different numbers. my first tune was way too rich at 48/...
Just finished up rebuilding the twin carbs on my 99 Shadow 1100 ACE. Now a question to save a little time. Can I reinstall my carbs with the velocity stacks on the carb assembly? Or do I need to in...
G'Day Brains Trust, The muppet I bought my bike from has cross threaded one of the spark plugs. I am just about to do a fair bit of work to the bike but removing the head wasn't one of them. ...
