You will have to tune your bike once these have been installed! Be sure to pick up one of our Performance Tuning Kits - Single Carb, or Dual Carb! Do not wrap these pipes,  doing so will void the warranty as well as increase the chances of corrosion and failure. Please click this LINK for an explanation as to why we do not wrap pipes. All pipes are handmade and will have minor differences from set to set, being the nature of custom, handmade parts, you may see some plating differences, weld differences, but all pipes have been checked to make sure that with proper care, they will have a long life on your bike.  The color change is normal on all pipes even when plated as they are single-wall exhausts. If not cared for properly rust and corrosion can even occur on plated pipes. Raw steel pipes WILL rust unless you plate or coat them.

It is up to you to know your local laws and regulations. These are open pipes and they are not quiet. These pipes are for closed course use only, far away from people who say things like, "that's too loud".
