Max performance kits vt750

  Hi guys, I'm from 🇬🇧 and recently purchasesd a 2002 VT750 shadow to customise, I'm looking at these Max performance kits sold by TJB but have a question related to the air intake? I've already completed an airbox delete on my sons VT and we added velocity stacks, new main and pilot jets and it's running sweet but before we had to block off alll of the air feed system. So my question is with the max performance kits that don't mention this is required ?? Does this have to be completed yes or no ??

  @Melvyn Squires not all the bikes had a PAIR or AIS system that ran off engine vacuum. Some just had a secondary air filter system, with no reed valves that went into the head.  they were passive systems that just went to a dead space with a weep hole for moisture. 
  
  I can tell from your picture you have a Spirit. You do not need any plates. =)
