2001 Honda shadow 750 can’t seem it get it running good

  I have a 2001 Honda shadow 750 ace. I have been struggling to get it running good it found one bad ignition coil so I just replaced both to be safe. It ran decent, but would bog and or misfire whenever I gave it hard throttle under load. I pulled the spark plugs and found all four plugs were running very lean. I tried to adjust the carb and take it for a ride, but the bike continued to run lean. I once again adjusted the carbs, took it for a ride and now completely misfires
