Hoping to get some help, I have a 2001 Honda Shadow 750 Spirit. This spring, I took the modifications a step further and picked up the max performance kit. I have it all installed fine and dandy, but after going on the first ride, I fouled a plug in the front cylinder, and after some googling and troubleshooting, I found my front cylinder wasn't firing.
(I checked compression and both front and back cylinders are 165PSI, I swapped plugs and wires and ignition coils, and they all checked out good. The front plugs were always wet, so I know I was getting at least some fuel, and when I sprayed starter fluid in the front velocity stack, she would start to fire and cut out again)
I did all I could and brought it to a shop, and they re-synced my carbs, and repaired the synchronization bracket. I rode it home, and she wanted to stall on takeoff. I had to give her a lot of throttle, so I turned the fuel up a bit and now right back to the cold front cylinder.
Any help would be great, Im assuming it's a tuning issue. I dont know if one of the cylinders mixture screw should way differently from the other one or not. Also im running the 42 jets
thanks in advance !
