750 ace rebuild kit slide assembly’s needle needs shim?

  2000 750 ace, I'm searching for answers as I diagnose carb flooding + no start. Are the included new slide assemblies set to the length they should be at? I see no shims on them and they are identical to the stock ones. I'm using the larger jets included in the permormance kit+ exhaust, but I just assumed the slides were good to go and popped them in. Where can I get shims if I need them? Thank you all!

  The shims should be in the performance kit. Dual kit should have 4 little washers, two per needle. I made the same mistake and had to redo the slides with the shims on.
