Will a Performance carb kit pair well with a K&N air filter.

  I originaly wanted to put a max proformance kit on my vt1100 ace but I love my current exhaust (true dual cobra drags w baffels) Im worried that if I put just a performance carb kit in it it will mess with the tune. I plan to put a K&N high flow filter, TJB performance carb kit, and cut my baffels ether short or out entiarly.  I want to know if you guys think this setup will work.

  @Willyg Walden the performanc ekit IS for tuning. its not just a drop in thing, it is the kit you need to tune your bike for an open intake and exhaust, you may need to use the more lean options in the kit if you still run a stock style filter though. but it should be fine.
