Hi everyone! Working on an 02 600 single carb. Bike has straight pipes and an aftermarket air filter and bike is running rich (black soot coming out of exhaust). I've put larger jets in it (50 pilot 148 main), but still not helping. I did remove the fuel accelerator pump and other stuff not needed. Wondering if its the float as when I mess with the fuel (turn off gas briefly) it'll run great, but after the bowl fills up it starts running rich. Anyone have any other suggestions?
Edit: Just an update, got it fixed. Ended up actually with a 35 pilot and 140 main and it runs great. I'd still like to get baffles for it, but not sure if any would fit.
