Trying to install a LED latching switch and a momentary switch on 99 Honda Shadow 600. I'm struggling with this.
Latching Switch Wires:
Yellow -NC
Blue - NO
Green - C
Red - "+"
Black - "-"
Bike Wires:
Grn/Blk - spliced into blk connected to ICM
Y/R - starter?
R/Bl - fuse box
W/Bl - this is split in two at the switch but converts to one leading to ignition coils
Trying to make sure I have my connections right.
Latching Switch to Bike:
Grn to G/Bl
Red to G/Bl
Blue to W/Bl(spliced end not used)
Black to a Grn ground
yellow isn't used
momentary to bike
Y/R
R/Bl
Does this sound right? Thank you for your help.
@Ryan Young man im gonna be honest, i never run turn signals. like ever.
the best option ive seen is the motogadget setup, they make the switches wiring and Can-bus fuse block that make it all work great. otherwise ive tried a dozen ways to wire turn signals and it never works. HAHA! im sorry i cant be of more help man!
Oh yeah. I ditched the turn signals. Ironically the taillights I'm putting on have the ability to do both but I'm not connecting for that. I think I got it figured out. Did a little test and it appears to be working. I've got the bike broken down into a million pieces cleaning and painting. Once it's back together I throw up a pic of the final product. Thank you for the reply though!
