Exhaust sucking air and carb pushing air out any idea?

  Recently installed a performance kit on my honda shadow aero 06 . I fallow all steps watched videos and looked at manual. When I went to start my bike to tune I noticed that my exhaust was sucking air in and my car pushing air out instead of sucking air and expelling through exhaust.  Any ideas? Please help

  @Adam Fatic man i have NO idea how you managed to do this. you also didnt mention if the bike even ran before you did this upgrade. But theres only a few explanations. 

  f your bike is actually sucking air in through the exhaust, here’s what might be wrong in plain old fashioned english:

  • A valve is stuck open

  • Cam timing is screwed up

  • Valve lash is too tight

  • Youve got a Bent/burned valve
