  I'm debating on getting the stacks for my 2001 vt750 due to living in the desert and don't want sand or heavy dust to enter carb.

   

  Anyone live in a area that's dusty sandy and constant heavy winds?

  @Luis Martinez The stacks have a stainless filter on them that really wont let anything big enough to do damage inside.  but if your bike is stored outdoors during a dust storm... well yeah thatcan be a problem.
  I am working on a solution to offer with our performance kits that adds more protection but doesnt affect the benefits of a veloicity stack.

  I'm in el paso texas.  And no the bike won't sit outside but I do have to ride thru the desert before seeing any civilization. I do see the mesh and i did read all the great reviews
