what's up guys! Got a 99 vt600 with 03 motor in it. What I have going on is I cannot get this bike to run without choke/enricher fully on. With it on you can viable see it's running rich (exhaust black from raw fuel) but it doesn't miss a beat. Push choke back in and back firing out carb and just running lean as hell when you get fuel to it. I've played around with all the jets that come with the kit and adjusted A/F multiple ways but no dice. Y'all got any guru tricks or something I'm looking over.
Here's the specs: open exhaust, velocity stack, 145/48, TJ adjuster. Bike has great compression (170 if i remember right), has good spark and plugs are gapped to spec, intake boots are good and I've sprayed carb cleaner all around it to find a leak and nothing. All the diaphragms look good and carb has been cleaned multiple times.
