New Rider , buying first bike! Any help is appreciated!

  What's up everyone? Hope everyone has had or is having a good day! I'm new to this site and looking for some advice! I'm getting my first bike soon and I'm at a pretty even split between a Honda Shadow and a Harley sportster iron 1200. I've been around Harley's for a long time , but there's definitely something special about the shadows, what do you guys! For context I want something that I can ride to work but still look sick; I drive almost 80 miles a day. What do y'all think?!

  Now that, is a very complicated question.
  In my, humble and internet stranger level opinion I would probably tell you to go for the honda.
  Just purely for it's reliability and easy (and cheapness) of maintenance where needed (which if well maintained is little to none)
  Not to mention they're super customizable and extremely cheap to buy in the first place compared to an HD
