New here. Doing what everyone else does. Chopping 1997 VLX600.
The bike ran kinda okay. Rode it home about 60 miles. It vibrated pretty bad at higher RPMs. Most likely needing a carb sync.
I've had a ton of bikes over the last 20 or so years. Many small hondas, CX500s, CM400, 87 Super Magna, a couple of NightHawks. Also had a Triumph Trophy which was pretty cool. Got a Suzuki RE5 that was headed to a scrap yard. that was cool. Fixed it up and got it rideable after sitting 36 years. Then moved up to a 21 Road Glide. My daily rider. Now the VLX will be my toy and daily rider.
