1999 Honda nighthawk 750 outlaw shifter kit?!?!

  • First off love your work. I am at that age where things stop working for one reason or another. I am having difficulty lifting my left toes to shift into higher gears on my '99 nighthawk 750. I have scoured the interwebs and can't find a simple heel-toe shift levers.in my countless hours searching heel-toe, jocky lever-suicide clutch, or something; I came across tjbrutalcustoms outlaw shifter. I love it and would love to have one for my nighthawk. Please oh please help me out!!!

  • @jdard91581 hey man! thanks for posting! unfortunately we have no plans to make parts for a nighthawk but the good new is that A LOT of hondas use the exact same shift shaft splines.  the nighthawk has mid-sets but you may be able to find a different toe shifter that could be modified to accommodate the heel shift part!  beyond that, its not too difficult to weld up a heel shift to an existing toe shift setup! id be willing to bet a dollar that someone locally could make it happen with some stainless round bar! id be down to try but thats not something i can do remotely, id need the bike in person.

  • @TJ thank you for the reply. I have also thought of welding another just like the one on it to make my own heel toe but I am told it is aluminum and very difficult to weld. At least no one I can find is willing to attempt it. Thank you sincerely though. Love your outlaw shift kit though.

  • @jdard91581 well as i mentioned, the shift shaft on most hondas i have found to be the same. you may have luck finding a shift shaft from another model thats steel construction, and going from there. also, even if your curtrent shifter is a luminum, a good fabricator worth his salt should be able to weld aluminum, just saying, there may be options. Sorry i dont have anything better to offer you!
