In a effort to make longer trips more enjoyable I've been looking for something that could give my passenger the equivalent of highway pegs so your legs aren't always at that 90 degree angle for hours between gas stops. I don't have any good custom shops around me and it's hard to really tell from photos on websites if the 3rd party add-on piece is good or not. That's one of the reasons why I like forums. Find out from people who know. So any suggestions or is this something where a custom piece is really needed as all the available add-ons are really a waste of money?
@Josh Bolin ill be honest ive never seen anything like what youre describing, not sure how that would work or where that might mount to.
@TJ Ciro did one but it doesn't appear to give really anything more: https://www.westendmotorsports.com/ciro-adjustable-passenger-comfort-peg-mounts-for-93-up-harley-davidson-touring-and-trike-models-choose-finish/
And Harley has their own version for just the mounts, pegs sold separately (of course): https://www.harley-davidson.com/us/en/shop/adjustable-auxiliary-passenger-footpeg-mounts/p/54157-10
But I think it would be cool to have like a double folding floorboard that say folded upwards against the bike like normal, but when unfolded hat another piece that you could either leave as is for a normal floorboard or open it by flipping it forward to a 45 degree angle for a bit more stretch giving your legs a different angle. A design like that may interfere with the rider's legs so that may not work. I don't know, just trying to imagine a solution to give my passenger the same comfort I have when it comes to your leg position.
