Just about done with my performance kit install and I was thinking about washing my bike before I slap the tank back on when a question hit me. What's the deal with water getting into the stack?! It can't be a good thing and I'm seeing that there are pre-filters available to stick over the stack to keep water out.
So what's the deal? How big of a deal is it if I ride in the rain without one or decide to wash my bike and get crazy with the hose? Should I look for a pre-filter and, if so, anyone recommend one for TJ's stack? Thanks.
