1983 shadow build

  I am aware that parts are not made for this bike and are also aware that no one builds them however these are also the reason in persuing this build can anyone tell me what parts will fit from other bikes and the capacity for building this bike /engine

  I just googled 1983 Honda shadow stator.  Brand new in the box 45 dollars.  There are parts out there.  If you are good at fabrication parts, as TJ is, parts can be made to fit.  I do not have a shop nor his skill level, so when I take a project, it is based on my assessment of what I can do.  Ya know, a grinder and paint makes a welder what he ain't. 

  If you do decide to take the project, a micrometer might help.  Mic your parts and compare with dimentions with things you find on line.  Might help you from buying the wrong part.  Hope this helps.

  @Richard Thompson  I can get my sizes but no one gives the sizes of their parts online unfortunately or this would be a lot easier

  @Nash Crytzer i have no data on parts that will fit, im sorry man. 
  what you can do is go to a site that sells honda parts, and often times they will have a list of what other models use that part. for example, lets say you need a head cover bolt. you look that up and then somewhere on the page it will show that it also fits several other models. so then ill take theose model names, and the part im l;ooking for, go to ebay and search "head cover boltfor 1998 XYZ 750" this is how to find hard to find parts. 
  for electrical you may want to try ricks motorsports electronics, they have a lot of quality electronics.
