Anyone familiar with the speedometer on a 1998 honda aero vt100?

  My speedometer will stop working at times and not sure what to look for? I dont see a cable but I see a speed sensor in the breakdown, but have no idea how to test or even where it is. Thanks in advance. Nils

  @Nils Andersson well, for 1, your bike has an electronic speedo a great way to fix this is to uplug the speedometer. you dont need it. just dont drive like an asshat and you should be fine. it really frees the midn to be much more aware and present during a ride. 

   

  if youre trying to fix it, just open up the headlight and start looking for burned or unplugged wires.
