Hello! I just got a midline solo seat, bolt-on hinge and weld-on spring posts.
Can someone share any pictures of where you installed the posts on the frame? I have a welder, but am not sure how the springs attach to the seat or where to put the posts best.
Do y'all think I have to weld a cross tube to mount the spring posts? I think this seat is too narrow to reach the frame rails comfortably.
I'm just afraid that a new crossmember would prevent the TJBC fender and bracket from being removed later.
@Denis Panteleev you can actually weld a tube between the frame and each of the fender mounts. the fender mounts would stay in one spot, but the fender and the strut or shock could still be removed.
