Carb tuning rookie

  • I just got a '98 VT1100C2 I feel like her idle is off like the previous owner tried to make it sound like a harley. I recently had to lay it down after being forced to evade into a gravel drive by a construction site driver we took a tumble but it's 99% cosmetic. Been wrenching on cars most my life so did the same post wreck inspection I normally do for cars checked my lines, tanks/resivoirs, frame, seals and filters I'm just trying to make sure nothing got knocked out of whack never having worked on or tuned anything with a carb. I saw on one of TJ's videos there is a walk through sheet on how to do all this I'm just trying to find it and if yall have any pointers diagrams anything that would be fantastic! I did already purchase a tach/hour meter to help with setting the idle @ the factory 1100 RPM per my manual

  • I know TJ has a bunch of resources for this kinda thing. He replies to pretty much everything on here. I think he will drop the resources he has.

  • @Preston Yates which video are you referring to? nothings coming to mind man haha im sorry i have hundreds of videos now LOL Im glad the tumble wasnt too bad!!
