Carbs hiccuping?

  I have a 2007 honda shadow SPIRIT 750DC. I've rebuilt the carbs using your stock rebuild kit, and it's definitely firimg up and starting wayyy better. Unfortunately now it seems to be hiccuping from the carb area somewhere wveey now and again. An when i turn it off there is a little smoke from the exhaust. Any ideas where i can start?

  hope this helps! also make sure your intake boots are seated properly, and have been replaced. if youre using the old ones, that aint gonna work, i promise! 

  9 times out of ten, these little issues are installer error, not trying to be a dick, but its easy to overlook some of the small things. replace those intake boots, and check out that tuning guide, you should be on the right track!
