1996 honda shadow ace 1100c2

  • I need a stock rebuild kit for the carburetor can I use the rebuild kit for the 750? I have heard some people say they use the same carburetor

  • @Dylan Mccumbers @Dylan Mccumbers the internet strikes again! they are not the same at all. No mater what the internet people say. LOL! The slides are different sizes, as are the jets, they look similar, but they are larger. You could get our performance tuning kit, and run the leanest jets in the kit, and you'd probably be just fine, the honda shadows are all tuned SUUUPER anemic in stock configuration, so even in stock intake and exhaust setup, you will very likely benefit from a jetting bump.  We will work on getting a stock rebuild kit on the site for ya'll though, great idea!

  • LOL yeah I figured as such, I wasn't getting a straight answer anywhere so I figured ask someone who knows what they are talking about, thank you very much

  • @Dylan Mccumbers youre welcome man! have a great day!

  • Hey I have a 1996 Honda shadow ace vt1100c2 and one of my riser bushings got so bad both of the metal sleeves came out while changing risers i put then back in with tape wrapped around them but they still move(not as bad). do I need to slid them back in do I need to buy the solid mounts do I need to drill the other side out? Should I buy the solid bushings and still drill both? Should I just buy the risers tj offers and not do any drilling?

  • @Jonathan-allan Wynn The choice is yours man. you can go with my risers or just get the bushings. either way. take on the bushings will last about 20 minutes. and thats pretty dangerous lol dont want your bars floppin around at the critical moment LOL
