Hardtail VLX on bumpy roads

  I inherited a Hardtail VLX 600 not so long ago. I love it and I immediately put miles and even crossed borders. Living in Latin America roads are garbage specially in the city. The seat actually helps a lot and I usually have a comfortable ride but What can I do to stop the noises? When I go through poorly patched or bumpy roads it sounds like you threw a metal toolbox down the stairs. It sounds like it's falling apart. What would you suggest?

  @Vincent Alejandro i mean its really gonna be up to you to figure out whats making the rattling sound. thats really something youll have to do yourself. id start fromt he front of the bike and work your way back inspecting everything for movement, loos/lost screws/bolts and also looking for cracks.
