Do you sell replacment bearings for the vlx600 springer kit or can you tell me the size. Love the springer kit by the way.

@Kc Kinder which bearings?
Front wheel. The bearings that came in the kit are a bigger id the the axel shaft
@Kc Kinder there are 2 small, same size aluminum rings in the kit, those go inside the bearings they are bearing adapters.
I am trying to install the brutal springer on my vlx. Can you tell me if the stock fork stops need to be completely removed? It sure looks that way, but not mentioned in the installation video.
Thanks
@Carl Steinberg No no need to cut anything. Use a stand to raise the front wheel off the ground. install the steering stem part way, get the springer over the stops then put the steering neck all the way in. Use the steering nut to set bearing backlash. with front end off the ground, check the fallaway feel - turn the handlebars to the center, then tap them to one side. The bars should move smoothly to the steering lock under their own weight. If they stop too soon, it is too tight.
Grab the front forks near the lower clamp and push/pull forward and backward to check for any, clicking, or clunking, or movement which indicates loose bearings.
Thanks for the quick reply.
Next challenge. I have the spacer in the wheel, with both bearings installed, the spacer is snug-but not tight-between the bearings. I tried to install as you describe in your video and it appeared too wide to fit in the sppringer. I then assembled the wheel with the spacers on the axle and placed it between the forks and it appears to be about 1/4 inch too wide. 9" inside the fork. I don't see anything wrong otherwise. Since the spacer in the axle is appropriately snug, i can't figure anything else causing this issue.
Any insight?
