02 honda shadow 600 vlx

  My 02 600vlx starts runs revs perfectly fine but when im riding i can only go about 1/4 to half throttle until the bike starts to bog but when i pull the choke out just a little while im riding the bike doesnt bog and i can go full throttle please any help/recommendations its my first bike and im new to all of it im thinking it may be a carb issue but my carb is frickin spotless so im lost could also be my air/fuel so help would be very much appreciated

  @Shane Tamburello how do you know the inside of your carb is spotless? have you rebuilt it?> have you replaced the intake boots? have you checked the slide diaphragms for leaks?
