  • FINALLY got the BackDrafts mounted and a cool backdrop to boot!Honda vs Honda

  • @Robert Greene friggin love it man!

  • Updated to just pics of my bike.  Posted all the other junk in the greetings forum.

  • @Jeff Coombs Dude thats an awesome list of stuff youve done! those wheels are the GOOD VT1100 wheels. the vt1100 sabre had these hideous mascerator blades for wheels -

something ive seen done on the wheels you have is when they paint the wheels black and then the raised portions of the spokes are painted gold or left bare aluminum.

great work man! love the bike and thank you for sharing, glad we have someone like you on the forum for our 1100 guys!! hope to see more on your bikes progress!

  • Bought this a couple months ago as a good runner in rough shape aesthetically, I'd say I turned it around pretty good, all paint, fab and wiring done by myself

  • 2003 VLX600 with Cobra drag pipes, TJBC Performance rebuild kit and velocity stack. Just finished putting it all back together!

  • @Angel718 That pic of your bike... i thought you had the tallest bars EVER!1

  • @Sam Young sexy!

  • @TJ there a name to that style of seat? debating on cutting off the mounts and going to something like that.

It's a work in progress, but its still come a long way from stock. I've probably yanked 150 pounds of tarnished Amazon chrome and old man mods off of this thing.

  • I got my first bike. Taking things slow since I got my license a year ago and have zero ride time beyond that training class required in Rhode Island. I put on about 20 miles in the past few weeks. Its a little crusty and has a couple of leaks that I will have to look into but running and cheap money... Almost entirely stock but missing that rear lockbox on the seat. Probably won't replace it with the same box but could use some suggestions for keeping fairly stock looking. Probably will hang on to it for a season or two of practicing.

  • @JD Armand cool bike man!unfortunately your main options  for parts are only gonna be places like ebay. parts for that bike are mostly obsolete and many years out of production. but scrap yeard and ebay are good resources for older bikes!

  • @TJ honestly it's been fun and if all I can do is keep it running and learn, the $1200 and a few seasons is definitely worth it.
