Hell yeah thanks for the rec man. I'll play around with it. I definitely don't have any accessories on the bike, so reg/rec might be the culprit. 

@TJ I'm fairly certain one for the stock fuel tank would sell very well.  Even moreso if it's available in something other than just brass (ie. people want chrome & "blacked out" versions).
