This Complete Performance Carb Rebuild kit is for the Honda Shadow VT1100. If you got a velocity stack from us, and/or exhaust you will definitely need to re-jet and tune your carb with one of these kits!
Any time a change is made to exhaust or intake, a re-jet is necessary. Sometimes this change is subtle, other times, the change is more drastic, And there is no quick one size fits all formula, so tuning does mean you may need to pull the carbs a few times. we recommend a little grease on the intake boots to ease the installation and removal of the carbs. Nobody likes chafing! Lube helps!!
This kit is meant to work with a free flowing velocity stack intake and a free flowing exhaust system. This is intended as a performance upgrade with velocity stacks and or/open exhaust and is not recommended for a stock intake/exhaust setup.

I recently pulled the trigger on this, said screw it. Got it done in my living room with a couple beers and some Gladiator in the background. Took the bike out this morning, and it is a NIGHT AND DAY DIFFERENCE. Before, my 99 shadow 1100, struggled to get up to speed, even when giving it the beans. This jet kit brought this bike to life, and I couldn't be happier with it. Now she has too much beans for the pot! Haha. Worth every dime and will recommend it to anyone who asks about it.

Kit has most of what you need. I believe it didn't come with the oval seals or the small diaphragms and springs. I bought these separately ahead of time.
Main jets a little hard to read.
With stock air box with new filter and Vance and Hines pipes, I went with
45 pilot jets in both. Front carb got
195 and back 198. Acceleration is incredible now and bike sounds like a drag bike. It completely changed the note of the exhaust.
This kit comes with everything you'll need to do a rebuild except the small side diaphragms. I really like the lond fuel adjustment screws with easy to turn nobs and the look cool.
