Rigid struts - going on 2003 shadow ace

  Has anyone put the rigid struts on? If so what was your method to getting it done? Was it fairly easy? Will I need to keep the rear tire supported to a point?

  @Jimmyp you can do it with a regular car jack, just leave the bike on the kickstand and lift the frame ever so slightly right in front of the swingarm. the front wheel and kickstand act as two points of a tripod and the jack acts as the third point. you dont need the tire off the ground, just unloaded enough to pull the shocks off. then put one strut on the bottom mount and slowly lower the bike to where the top hole lines up, loosely bolt it down and do the other side, you may need to jack the bike up a wee bit but this is the easiest way to do it if you dont have a flat jack.
