ACV and vacuum system

Working on my 07 Spirit vt750c2. Open exhaust and v stack. Cleaning carb, rejetting, and deleted the carb warmer (coolant lines connected to carb) and acv. Acv is plugged. The acv connects into the vacuum system. I'm assuming i can not leave the nipple of the vacuum system open. My question is do I delete the entire system, plug that nipple, or CAN I leave it open? What are the best ways to plug it? Either the entire system or just the nip.
