8” tbars on a 05 shadow spirit 750 question about cables

Shadow Blurb New MemberSo I am currently looking to change the handlebars on my shadow, when I first got it it had nearly 12 inches of rise (poorly done) and I went down to about 6" but I feel like I went too drastic in the wrong direction and am looking to go up to 8" tbars from the shop of course with this comes the challenge of cables, the bike needs new ones either way. Does anyone know what size I would need? Or how to measure already non stock cables so I can make only one purchase instead of one purchase then waiting to get the bars, measuring and ordering again? Everything except the current bars are in stock locations.
