Remove Coolant "V" Connection from Newly Rebuilt Carb

My new carb looks great all cleaned up and put back together with the Velocity stack, brass cover, TJ adjustment knob, (and soon the shorty choke that just arrived). I can tell inside and out, this is going to run great.

However – I can't seem to get this "V" connection coolant thing off though. I don't want to break anything, but it seems like it's pinned in – but I can't see where. Any ideas? do I just need muscle it more, or wedge a screwdriver in and force it out?

@Bry Guy 007 its not pinned in, its just got o-rings holding it in. if you want to leave it it wont hurt anything. You can twist and pull on it and it will come out. =)
