Is this normal? The pipes I just got have rust all on the inside of them. 
@EvilSkunk its not rust, its left over form the chroming process. its trapped chemical salts, and exposed underplating. nothgin to worry about. We dont polish inside the pipes so youre seeing what the pipes look like when theyre pull ed out of the tank. run em!
