Air hose proper placement and start up

  • Ive followed everything on the install videos, and got my carb ready to go along with some ais plates etc. I've removed alot of the air hoses and pretty much got left with one that's just there to the left of the carb and when i start the bike up it blows air. Also TJ removed that useless 2 coolant nippele from the carb so i Just made one line plug to the others line nipple to bypass that too, and was wondering if thats the right way to, go. ive put some pictures to make sure everything is properly reinstalled. One last thing im pretty sure it has to do with my rpms but i was dialing in my rpms cuz it sounded low like that one tj video but my bike sounds weak, kinda like its not properly working. Is that due to tuning?

  • @Kenneth Sepulveda OK the hose you're saying blows air that is your crankcase breather valve you cannot plug that you need to run a hose down the back of your engine to atmosphere do not put a filter on it don't plug it it needs to breathe You also can't just Pop a plug on the other sides of the coolant lines which come from your carburetor What you want to do is just connect those two lines the one that comes from the intake manifold and the one that goes to the radiator just connect them.
I also see you have the vacuum line coming from the rear cylinder for your vacuum operated petcock If you don't retain that vacuum operated petcock you need to plug that hole otherwise you will have a very bad time LOL
