Just got a velocity stack for my '07 Shadow Spirit, and started ripping vacuum lines out like a madman. I got to the AIS ports on the cylinder heads with the little reed filters and whatnot, and realized I had to plug them or I'd be way too lean. Some other posts I've seen say the '07 doesn't need to be plugged or covered but there's definitely an open right into the cylinder, under the reed filter. I've got vaccum plugs on the ports at the moment and it stopped the decel pop I was experiencing when they were open to atmosphere. I'd love to grab some of cover plates off the site for a cleaner look, but both plate options say they wont fit a 2007 VT750C2 (although a 2007 VT750C2F is OK? I think the F is just a paint/colorway code?). Could someone confirm which cover plate would fit for my peace of mind, or provide the dimensions of the plate so I can measure the ports on my bike and confirm?
