So from my perspective here:
My first thought:
$300 is an absolute steal, which whilst not little money is also absolute pocket change for a bike of that class.
I'm fairly sure that if it turns out to be a major lemon you'd make your money back just in parts alone.
I'd personally consider picking it up just for shits'n giggles at that point.
My second thought:
Why in the hell is is so damn cheap, even for a non runner.
Then of course the question arises: are you technically inclined and up for what it potentially takes to get it back up and running?
Bonded title for one but also my question for price ha
And yes can rebuild or put another motor in if needed
Im used to squarebody chevy rebuilds so I am mechanicly inclined
@Jeremy Lux I see, well if the bonded title isn't an issue and the trouble of registering isn't too bad then by all means.
Even if just for parts lmao.
@Jeremy Lux at $300 - if its a total pile, you can probably recoup the cost by selling some of the parts.
id say try it. get the parts it needs and go from there.
as Smeltie said, if the bonded title isnt an issue, and you wont have trouble with regiostration go for it.
in california we have these registration businesses wher eyou can call and give them a vin and theyll run it and give you an estimate of registration fees. id check that first.
