Fuel delivery issue on a 2004 honda shadow 750 aero and AlS plates

  • So i have put the ALS plates on but the hoses that was connected to it are now just open, do I need to plug them or can I just leave them? I also can't get fuel into my carb I have tried so many things i just can't get my petcock to work. I was able to get my bik started for like a second by using a syringe to push fuel into my carb but it died almost instantly and so tried it again today and could not get it to start, i've checked my vacuum line on my petcock and it's fine. I replaced the petcock like 3 months ago but it is aftermarket, do i get another new vacuum petcok or is their ain't petcok that is just gravity fed and no vacuum line?

  • @Kaden Denker AIS plates are intended for someone who is going to get rid of their stock intake setup and run a velocity stack. You cant just slap em on there. i dont knwo what you have and havent done to your bike so its hard to say whats going on. but if you arent running a stack and gutting the stock intake system then id put the reed valves back and hook the vacuum operated petcock up and see what happens. you can just get a petcock from another honda shadow, they all have the same thread sizes, and run from tank to carb.,
