Just picked up a 1990 Kawasaki Vulcan 750. It’s not my first bike, but it’s the first one I’ve thought about chopping. After looking over the frame, I’m not sure how straightforward it would be to convert it to a hardtail without basically building an entire custom frame .
Right now I’m debating whether I should just flip it for a profit, or if anyone here has experience hardtailing one of these. Most of the shops around me won’t touch it or give much insight, so I’m trying to figure out if it’s even worth the effort. Any advice or experience would be appreciated.
