Honestly your brother chose a good platform to work on, and if i'm honest, I'd recommend you to get the same thing.
Not only will y'all be rocking the same VT600 platform but modified to your own tastes (which, let's admit it, is kinda dope, like rocking up with matching hoodies or shoes etc)
But you will also build up knowledge together on the same platform, so things he struggled with, you won't have to!
Another reason: they're cheap, very cheap even sometimes.
