I bought a 2003 honda shadow spirit vt750 duel carb it sat for 3 years took the carbs off rebuild them with a amazon rebuild kit make sure I used the same size jets and polit as what was in the bike previously didn't touch any adjustments or anything just put it back how it was replaced the air filter and the fuel pump ride it for 1 hour parked it next day tried to get on it now it idles but dies when I give it gas

I would suggest pulling your carb and cleaning it again. I have a 2005 vt750 single carb. I had to add a fuel filter. Add or replace fuel filter if you haven't already. Also, TJBC has a video on the petcock specific the vt750 model years. He explains how to modify them as they can fail.

TJ Admin Staff memberModeratorMember who has the rights to delete posts, and ban members form forum if they violate the rules.@Logan Allen because the amazon kits do not have the correct parts. i bought a handful and they were all stupidly wrong. incorrect jets, wrong slides, everything was fucky. they have all copied what i have painstakingly put together on my site with good quality parts that are correct. i use my own kits for a reason.
Also, you need to replace your intake boots. its a non negotiable.
